However, Xiao Li discussed with Huo Zhi on how to care for Feng Qing, and with Huo Zhi’s agreement, arranged for a maternity nurse from the neighboring postpartum center to care for Feng Qing, with plans for her to move directly into the center after discharge.
After arranging for Feng Qing, Xiao Li finished work and, stepping out of the hospital entrance, Qin Xiao was there waiting.
Picking up Xiao Li after work was something Qin Xiao had done every day for years, unless there was a special reason preventing him, otherwise he would always pick her up if she worked.
Xiao Li took a few quick steps and jumped into his embrace, something the hospital security had long grown used to.
They’ve been seeing it for almost a year now; they’re accustomed to it.
