Inside the villa, Xiao Li was watching the two children play while keeping an eye on her phone.

After hearing He Jie’s words, Xiao Li thought about how she hadn’t received a call from Qin Xiao for two days, realizing he had gone to rescue someone.

In the crossfire, the mercenaries, in order to escape with Qin Tan while saving their lives, ended up injuring him.
In that chaos, Qin Tan was severely injured and had been struggling for his life ever since, never regaining consciousness.
Because of this, Ledes previously raged against the mercenaries until his secretary told him that Qin Tan was the person in charge at Qin Corporation, which meant someone would certainly come for him. Thus, Ledes held his ground, waiting for the person the secretary mentioned to arrive.
Now, they had arrived!
After reading the document, Qin Xiao looked up at Ledes, "If I’m not mistaken, you want me to sign this, right?"
Ledes smiled lightly, "Yes."
Upon hearing this, Qin Xiao directly reached out his hand.
Ledes was momentarily taken aback, not understanding his intention.
Qin Xiao chuckled, "Without a pen, how can I sign?"
Ledes was first startled, then hurriedly pulled a pen out of his pocket and handed it to Qin Xiao.
Qin Xiao took it and swiftly signed his name on the document.
Even as he handed the signed document back to Ledes, Ledes still seemed a bit stunned.
He hadn’t expected Qin Xiao to sign so decisively; he had thought it would take much more effort.
Qin Xiao handed the document to Ledes and said calmly, "Ledes, may I take my brother now?"
Ledes, regaining his composure, first opened the document to verify everything was in order before saying, "You may, please..."
Qin Xiao turned to look at Qin Tan, "I think I need an ambulance."
Ledes immediately had someone arrange for an ambulance and also called in the doctor and nurse on site to send Qin Tan onto the ambulance.
Before getting on the ambulance, Qin Xiao had the vehicle checked over, removed the doctor and nurse on board, and replaced the driver with his own people.
Upon seeing this scene, Ledes made no move to stop it. It was normal for Qin Xiao not to trust his people.
