Chapter 56: Chapter 20: Solo Charge Against Breaking Army! Peerless Warrior! Extra Chapter for Alliance Leader Luo Liqibelin! (Part 3)

Soon, someone had already climbed over the barricade and was engaging in hand-to-hand combat with those inside.

No.

Who was that person?

Where am I? Why should I follow his orders?

Kvito slashed a Barbarian mercenary to the ground, still feeling dazed and confused.

But soon, the cheers of the Exile Rebel Army resounded.

Kvito looked up to see arrows piercing the sky, and not far away, a Barbarian soldier wearing an iron helmet was shot and killed. That was the enemy leader, and in the next second, those enemies began to collapse as several fierce Barbarian mercenaries snatched horses, attempting to escape in the direction without enemies.

Once they started fleeing, the entire Barbarian mercenary group fell into chaos.

The barricade was breached on three sides.

The remaining enemies were all retreating towards the gap, and in the blink of an eye, several people were hacked to the ground with chaotic blades.

"Have we won?" Kvito felt even more confused.

These Barbarian mercenaries were well-equipped, their weapons and armor similar to the Empire’s Field Army. In previous assaults, against several times their number, they had driven the Exile Rebels to despair, leaving only a pile of their companions’ corpses without much threat to the enemy.

But this time, half of the enemy was directly cut down, and the remaining were demoralized, forming ranks for self-protection. Some tried to break through the barricades to flee, and the initial horse thieves had already fled hundreds of meters away.

No orders for pursuit were given.

Chasing was impossible anyway, as the Exile Rebels had not a single rider.

He was still slowly shooting arrows from outside the battlefield, each arrow taking down an enemy, each draw of the bow resulting in cheers and shouts, the morale of the Exile Rebels rising higher and higher.

At some point.

Duncan already had a long spear in his hands. He directly urged his horse and charged into the enemy lines.

—— Lance Charge!

In a flash, he broke the formation alone!

With a thrust of the long spear in Duncan’s hand, he pierced through an enemy’s body!

Then, this Barbarian soldier, weighing nearly one hundred and fifty pounds, was lifted by him with one hand. The spear shaft was clamped under his arm, muscles bulging, a loud shout like thunder, and the body was lifted over the horse’s head height!

The war horse neighed!

The entire battlefield fell silent.

The long spear clamped under Duncan’s arm emitted cracking sounds from the unbearable weight. When he flung the body, lifted above the horse’s head, to the ground, the spear shaft had already bent, hardwood cracked, and the spear was almost unusable.

In an instant, thunderous cheers and shouts erupted!

The rebels of Barbarian descent in the Exile army shouted long and loud towards the sky, some crazily beating their chests, roaring as they charged to hack down the enemies, faces full of horror and without a trace of fighting spirit.

On both sides, Barbarian rebels guarded Duncan with their bodies, like the chieftain’s guard from ancient Rome. He drew the Oathkeeper and cleaved open an enemy’s shield.

Blood sprayed!

The formation that the enemies attempted for self-protection was instantly breached.

When Kvito had chased for a while and stopped to catch his breath, checking the battlefield around, there were already Exiles transporting food and making fires to cook.

"No."

"Where am I? Who am I?"

Kvito’s head buzzed. When he had just cut down a Barbarian mercenary, he had taken a heavy blow to the head from the enemy’s shield. Though he had blocked many attacks, he still felt a bit dizzy and lightheaded.

In the crowd.

Duncan gave an expressionless order for the Exiles to clean the battlefield, then directed people to make fires and cook food, letting the hungry rebel army have a hearty meal first.

It was only about a dozen minutes.

Crow Queen Triss and her men watched as Duncan shattered the ranks alone, overawed the bandit leader, commanded left and right, besieged three sides, and with one strong attack, routed the Barbarian private mercenary group, ending the entire battle.

Severus’s eyes were wide as saucers, the witch Anya’s face was flushed, trembling slightly on horseback, legs clenching.

Crow Queen Triss trembled slightly, gazing silently at Duncan in the distance.

"Am I being dethroned?"

Kvito finally cleared his head a bit, and the Exile Rebel Army around cast eyes of reverence and awe towards that man. Even his own subordinates unconsciously followed him, as if they were the personal guard of a general.

It seemed he had been dethroned.

Kvito severed the enemy’s head, an old habit, but found it unnecessary.

The crowd gradually parted.

Amid the Exile Rebel Army, that man rode forward and stopped in front of Kvito.

As their eyes met.

Instinctively, Kvito immediately stood straight, in a posture to receive the commander’s review.

The man nodded slightly and said in a deep voice, "Go eat."

"After eating, take people to transport the goods back."

Kvito responded with a full voice, "Yes."

Only after the man rode away did he breathe a long sigh of relief, not knowing why, with not a shred of thought to resist.

Nor dared to.

What kind of divine being was this?

In just about ten minutes, he seized his military power, commanding the Exile Rebel Army to rout the enemy. The looks in the eyes of those Exiles towards him were like they were admiring a ’Divine’.

Ironically, he himself felt a bit afraid.

Too terrifying!

The Exile Rebel Army of over three hundred people had killed just a dozen, the rest of the enemies were all slain by that man.

At the crossroads.

Duncan, not flushed or out of breath, calmly rode his horse up, nodded slightly to the Crow Queen Triss, and softly said, "The town isn’t safe either."

"We won’t enter any towns along the way, we’ll head to Britain through other routes."

After speaking, he glanced at those Exiles and said, "These people know the surroundings well, they can help us contact a fleet."

Crow Queen Triss, ever so wise, immediately grasped Duncan’s intention.

Her eyes swept over the Exiles, and she softly said, "It’s up to you."

Duncan intended to subdue them.

Severus appeared thoughtful, while the witch Anya’s beautiful eyes were firmly fixed on him. Unfortunately, Duncan didn’t spare her a glance, focusing instead on initially looking at Crow Queen Triss before swiftly directing the Exiles to transport supplies.

Crow Queen Triss inadvertently glanced at Anya, her expression unchanged, but her eyes narrowed slightly.

In the crowd.

Although not knowing who this man was, he was now the leader of this group of Exiles!

It was a time of chaos.

The strong reigned supreme!
