Chapter 4 Dual Elements

Ming Yue was furious. She was originally a princess of the Wu clan, the mistress of the primordial wilderness.

Being bullied by such a low-level creature today, the warlike bloodline within her Wu clan began to boil.

With a wave of her hand, countless wind blades flew out. The hundreds of vampires closest to her were immediately shredded, turning into a shower of blood that scattered in the air.

Then, her hands danced, and thousands of steel needles shot out, blinding a patch of vampires.

In extreme pain, the vampires, regardless of friend or foe, began to tear at their companions.

Seeing that the vampire army's formation was in disarray, Ming Yue pushed her hands forward, and a fire dragon roared into existence. With flames all over its body, it shook its head and tail as it charged forward.

A few minutes later, tens of thousands of vampires were wiped out by the fire dragon, and the remaining ones were also burned, letting out mournful cries.

The remaining vampires no longer posed a threat to her. Ming Yue summoned Qing Luan again, recalled the fire dragon, and flew towards her own residential complex.

"Mom!"

Just as Ming Yue was leaving, a slender figure jumped down from the rooftop of a building and chased after the direction Ming Yue had disappeared.

Ming Yue returned home and entered her space. She was a little worried about Ji Shiyou and wanted to check on his condition.

In the space, Ji Shiyou lay quietly. The fever had subsided, and his complexion had returned to normal.

She must have struggled violently while she was away. Now, Ji Shiyou was lying in a strange posture. Ming Yue felt tired just looking at him.

So, she reached out, intending to untie the ropes and make him more comfortable.

Unexpectedly, as soon as her hand touched Ji Shiyou's body, the guy woke up and started shouting, saying nonsensical things.

"What are you doing? I know I'm handsome, but this is too extreme. And bondage? I'm going to resist!"

He opened his eyes and saw that he was tied up, his clothes in disarray, and Ming Yue's hands were searching his body.

Ji Shiyou's first reaction was that Ming Yue had improper intentions towards him, and he quickly tried to dodge away.

"Don't overthink it. You were having an episode, and I tied you up in the space for fear that you would self-harm."

Rolling her eyes at Ji Shiyou, Ming Yue said expressionlessly. This guy must have been reading too many novels, her mind was filled with all sorts of strange thoughts.

"Oh, my apologies! I thought you were going to molest me. If you really wanted to, I would cooperate.

That was just a reflex just now, I couldn't control it. It won't happen next time. Without your glasses, you look like a completely different person, very beautiful."

With a slight exertion, Wen Qingtian's ropes were broken by him. He stood up, walked to the pile of supplies they had collected, found suitable clothes to wear, and said lewdly.

The original owner was actually very beautiful, with a classical beauty, but she deliberately disguised herself to look ugly for safety.

With thick bangs and a pair of large, non-prescription black-rimmed glasses, she looked very unfashionable.

Her glasses had fallen off during the fight with the vampires, so Ming Yue was now revealing her true appearance.

Ji Shiyou stared blankly for a moment, and the clothes in his hand were accidentally torn in half with a rip.

"Is the quality of these clothes so bad? No, my strength has increased. This is a superpower, a superpower! Hahaha."

First, he suspected the poor quality of the clothes, then he looked at the ropes he had broken, and Ji Shiyou roared to the sky.

The rope was as thick as his thumb. Normally, he would never have broken it so easily. The only conclusion was that he had gained a superpower, a strength-based superpower.

It must have been because he was injured by a zombie. Although Ming Yue had cured the poison, his body had mutated after being stimulated by the zombie virus.

After his great joy, Ji Shiyou calmed down and began to constantly search for things to test his strength-based superpower.

Finally, he confirmed that he could now lift things weighing over a thousand jin, and he could smash a table-sized rock with a single palm.

"You've awakened more than just strength; you have other abilities."

Looking at Ji Shiyou, who was running around like a monkey in the space, Ming Yue said coldly.

"More? That means dual-element abilities, I've hit the jackpot! What is it?"

Upon hearing Ming Yue's words, Ji Shiyou did not doubt her at all. Who was Ming Yue? An all-element master. If she said he had them, then he definitely had them.

So, he first patted the dirt on the ground with his hands, then ran to the river and stirred the water, trying to figure out if he could control water or earth, and to discover his other hidden ability.

"Stop messing around. It's the metal element."

Watching Ji Shiyou's antics in the space, Ming Yue frowned and said helplessly.

She sensed fluctuations of metal elements within Ji Shiyou, which was why she had spoken up to remind him.

After Ming Yue's guidance, Ji Shiyou finally mastered the metal element ability. Sometimes he made himself shine like the eighteen bronze statues of Shaolin Temple.

Other times, he condensed a large saber, shouting "Ha!" as he swung it like a windmill.

With the enhancement of strength and metal abilities, his originally slender body became strong, his muscles bulging, filled with masculine beauty and vigor.

"Aren't you hungry? Let's eat."

Looking at the man's six-pack abs, Ming Yue felt a little embarrassed. She took out the leftovers from breakfast and was about to go out.

She also found it strange. In the primordial wilderness, her clan members always went shirtless, and she didn't feel anything.

But looking at Ji Shiyou, she felt embarrassed. It must be the original owner's memories playing tricks.

"Take me out with you. Don't leave me behind."

Ji Shiyou, who could not freely enter or leave this space controlled by Ming Yue, ran over immediately when he saw Ming Yue about to leave.

"Put on some clothes before you go out."

Turning her back, Ming Yue said, not looking at Ji Shiyou's body.

Ji Shiyou casually put on a piece of clothing, grabbed Ming Yue's hand, and the two of them, carrying the food, appeared in Ming Yue's home.

They had only eaten one meal today, and after a day of killing zombies, both of them were hungry.

The space had a preservation function, so the food was as fresh as when it was put in, and it was still warm.

Smelling the aroma of food filling the room, they became even hungrier.

Just as they were about to dig in, there was a knock on the door.

They looked at each other, puzzled. Zombies didn't knock; they just smashed their way in.

Normal people were hiding at home now, afraid to go out. Who could be knocking?

Ming Yue looked through the peephole and saw a small boy standing outside the door. She opened the door with relief.

"Mom~ma."

As soon as the door opened, the child rushed in, hugged Ming Yue, and called her "Mom."

However, his voice was hoarse, like that of a toddler who had just learned to speak, not like a child of his age.

"Let go of him! Come back, Ming Yue, he's a high-level zombie, very dangerous!"

Just as Ming Yue was flustered by the child, she heard Ji Shiyou shout. Then, he grabbed her and instinctively pushed the child away.

The little boy was wearing a slightly ill-fitting tracksuit. He was small, only about 1.3 meters tall, with delicate features, but his face was ashen.

Seeing Ji Shiyou pull Ming Yue away and stand in front of her, the boy's once clear black and white eyes immediately turned blood red, and two fangs appeared in his mouth as he let out a low growl.
