Chapter 107: S-Rank Dungeon: The Malgia
The Captain, with Laela and Bernard, were the last to get into the dungeon, and to their utmost surprise they saw no one else.
Katherine looked around, totally confused with what the hell was happening for a brief second until she realized that they had all been separated. "No... No... this can’t be happening," she whispered. She instantly felt this feeling of frustration.
Bernard already had that worried look on his face as Laela was beginning to grow nervous.
-----
On another part of the dungeon, Piers had entered in pairs with Elena and Sorkin.
They of course had started to understand how terrible of a situation they were in. Being separated from their teammates.
-----
On one other part was Kayden, who was paired with Fred, Rick, and two other members of Ravens Grave.
It didn’t take long for Kayden to figure out that they had been separated from the rest of the guild, and he didn’t dawdle on it either.
For at the end of the day, it was still a dungeon that had to be cleared.
"Let’s get on with it," Kayden said as he started making his way further into the dungeon. The others glanced at themselves at first and then followed behind Kayden.
-----
On Aiden’s side, he was with Arianna and Oliver. The dungeon reacting this way on entrance had actually come as a surprise to him.
But just like Kayden, he knew it was a dungeon that had to be cleared either way.
"Big brother, where are the others?" Oliver asked, definitely looking scared about the current situation. Even Arianna looked just as nervous.
But then Aiden turned and said, "From what it looks like, we’ve all been separated, and I surmise that the only reason we three are together at the moment is because we stepped through the doors almost at the same time. But have no worry, no harm will befall any of us."
Aiden sounded so reassuring that Oliver gained some good level of confidence back. Arianna smiled briefly as well and nodded.
In a situation like this, she was only grateful Aiden was right by the corner.
Whilst Aiden could help with instilling morale into his teammates, he had a worry of his own. How Laela and the others he wasn’t close by would cope in a situation like that.
He genuinely hoped that they had all stepped into the dungeon in pairs and no one went in alone.
Then he turned to survey the view of the dungeon in front of him. This definitely did not look like the conventional one.
Most of the dungeon was built with bricks and tiles, with round arches and a variety of support pillars.
Then Aiden used his dragon’s sight skill and his eyes took a draconian form. He wanted to see further than the limits of his human sight, and additionally to see if the rest were within close range.
From the looks of it, the dungeon contained many entrances and numerous pathways leading to the innermost depths of the dungeon.
It felt like a maze, yet it wasn’t one. It only had complex structures that would take a while getting used to.
One thing gave Aiden the most concern.
Right about 3000 meters worth of distance had been made available to him with the usage of Dragon’s sight, and yet he could not see anyone else from Ravens Grave with his sight.
"Just how far exactly does this dungeon stretch?" he said to himself.
One other thing were the torches already lit within the dungeon’s pathway, so there was clear visibility of the surroundings. This only meant that there was something definitely living inside of this dungeon.
However, there had been some advantage to the usage of his dragon’s sight. He had seen every single booby trap laid within the walls and grounds of the dungeon.
That was when the system had sent Aiden two new special quests to complete.

He nodded to himself seeing the missions and then said "Alright let’s get to work."
[Self Duplication]
He made five different avatars appear before him and then gave the instructions, "Find the others."
The avatars all used the dragon’s sight skill and immediately spread out further into the dungeons whilst also making more copies of themselves as they moved further into the dungeon.
With an overwhelming number of Aidens that would only keep multiplying, there was no way they wouldn’t find the others.
Arianna had seen the usage of this ability before, but this didn’t make it any less amazing seeing it in use again.
Oliver, on his part, was entirely speechless, and when Arianna noticed how shocked he was seeing multiple clones of Aiden, she bent slightly and whispered into his ears, "Try not to think much about it. It would never make sense." She chuckled a bit after saying that.
Then Aiden spoke to them both who were behind him, "Let’s go and please stay close."
They both nodded and followed right behind him as they proceeded into the dungeon.
-----
Aiden, Arianna, and Oliver had been walking for a couple minutes. Under careful instructions from Aiden, they had successfully avoided most traps.
And for those traps which weren’t avoidable, Aiden had utterly destroyed them by stretching out his hand and releasing his Destruction skill: Oblivion beam.
Sending out a concentrated blast of white light that totally disintegrated the traps before they even stepped within its range.
It looked like they had it all good until suddenly they started hearing eerie malevolent voices.
This caused them to slow down in their steps whilst looking around in an attempt to point where these voices came from. However they couldn’t. It came from everywhere, and even with his dragon’s sight, Aiden could not pick out anyone around them causing this very phenomenon.
The voices then became personal, and they could hear different things within their heads. Their minds were currently being invaded by this malevolent creature.
Although this was with the exception of Aiden, who could only still hear the ones in the general background. He turned and noticed that Arianna and Oliver had been compromised greatly.
Arianna had heard the following words in her head: "You want him really badly, but you know you can’t have him, and every day you’re plagued by nightmares of a time in your life when you weren’t in control."
There was a mixture of devious and sarcastic laughter from the eerie voices as they spoke into Arianna’s head.
"Get out of my head!" She yelled as she had both hands over her ears in an attempt to stop herself from hearing it.
Oliver suffered the same effects, and in his head, he heard: "You want to become a mage so that you can take over and make your father’s work better, but so far you have been an utter failure. Your weakness is disgusting, and you were allowed to enter a new guild out of pity."
They were both struggling to fight the voices in their heads.
"Wait..." Aiden said to himself as realization started to dawn on him. "A complex architectural structure with several traps, and now mind invasion. Hell! This is a Malgia!"
