Chapter 49 Gaining the Initiative

“Qiu Minghao, do you yield?” Zhou Hong poked his head out, looking at Qiu Minghao who was dangling in mid-air.

“Let me go,” Qiu Minghao roared in anger. He saw many people watching from the corridor of the teaching building and felt extremely humiliated. He had lost all face.

“Alright, then I’ll let go,” Zhou Hong said, loosening the fishing net he held.

“Ahhh!” Qiu Minghao screamed in terror as he began to fall again.

After falling half a meter, Zhou Hong quickly pulled the net back up.

“Qiu Minghao, do you still want me to let go?” Zhou Hong asked with a cold snort.

“Wuwuwu.” Qiu Minghao’s body went limp. He felt a warm current in his crotch, flowing down his thighs, up his neck, and finally dripping onto the ground from the top of his head.

The many students who had gathered to watch were stunned. Qiu Minghao had actually wet himself out of fear.

“Qiu Minghao, I’ll ask you one more time, do you yield? I’ll count to three, and if you don’t respond, I’ll let go. One, two.”

“I yield, I yield!” Qiu Minghao shouted out in fear.

“Very good, then I’ll let you go this time,” Zhou Hong said, pulling the fishing net up. He had no intention of actually throwing them down.

“Bang!” Upon reaching the rooftop, Zhou Hong tossed the fishing net into a corner of the roof. Qiu Minghao and the others were almost thrown to death.

Zhou Hong ignored them and left the rooftop with a snort.

“Brother Hao, how are you?” Qiu Minghao’s few lackeys scrambled up to untangle him from the fishing net, but they secretly held their breath due to the stench of urine emanating from Qiu Minghao.

Seeing his lackeys deliberately holding their breath, Qiu Minghao felt a surge of anger.

“Zhou Hong, this humiliation today, Brother Hao will repay it.” Qiu Minghao gritted his teeth and said.

“Brother Hao, this Zhou Hong seems like trouble. Maybe we should just forget about it,” one of the lackeys advised.

“Impossible. He made me lose so much face, I will absolutely not let this go,” Qiu Minghao said unwillingly.

“Then what’s your plan?”

“Hmph, I admit I’m no match for him, but dealing with someone can be done not just with force, but also with strategy. In terms of brains, he’s definitely no match for me. That Zhou Hong only scored two hundred and fifty on his college entrance exam, while I scored three hundred and eighty. In terms of intelligence, he’s far inferior to me.”

“We don’t understand,” Qiu Minghao’s lackeys shook their heads.

“It’s normal that you don’t understand, with your college entrance exam scores below three hundred. Wang Zhicheng and Kang Bing Tian from our Economics department, aren’t they always acting so arrogant? I have an idea to use Wang Zhicheng and Kang Bing Tian to deal with Zhou Hong.”

“What if Wang Zhicheng and Kang Bing Tian are also no match for Zhou Hong?”

“That’s fine too. I’ve been annoyed by Wang Zhicheng and Kang Bing Tian for a long time anyway.”

“Hahaha, Brother Hao, your plan is brilliant. No matter who defeats whom, the outcome will be satisfying for us.”

“Stop flattering me. Hurry up and think of a way to provoke a conflict between Zhou Hong and Wang Zhicheng, Kang Bing Tian. The more intense, the better.”

“Isn’t that simple? We can post on the forum in the name of Wang Zhicheng and Kang Bing Tian, saying that Zhou Hong is a bastard.” one of the lackeys suggested.

“No, that would be too obvious that I instigated it. Then, Wang Zhicheng and Kang Bing Tian would team up against me, and I’d be in a terrible situation…!” Qiu Minghao glared at the lackey.

“Brother Hao, how about this: you go and rape Zhou Hong’s mother, then leave a note saying Wang Zhicheng did it.”

“Get lost! Why don’t you go?” Qiu Minghao smacked the head of the lackey who suggested the rape plan.

“Then what do you suggest? We need to create a fierce conflict between them, but without arousing suspicion that you’re the instigator. This is too difficult. With our intelligence, it’s hard to come up with something.”

“Forget it, let’s go back and take a shower first. I smell like urine,” Qiu Minghao said, quickly leaving the rooftop.

Zhou Hong returned to the classroom. The classmates had naturally seen what happened and were even more fearful of Zhou Hong.

“Brother Hong, you’re amazing! You actually dangled the third-ranked gang leader from our Economics department from the rooftop, and so many people saw it. You’re bound to become famous now!” Wu Jinbin, sitting in front, turned around and said with admiration as Zhou Hong took his seat.

Zhou Hong curled his lips, having no interest in the title of third-ranked gang leader.

If Qiu Minghao hadn’t provoked him and invited him to the rooftop, Zhou Hong wouldn’t have bothered with such a minor figure.

“Brother Hong, please look out for me in the future,” Wu Jinbin said with a chuckle.

“Alright, enough nonsense, focus on your class.”

“Got it.”

The classmates now looked at Zhou Hong with less animosity. After all, regardless of his college entrance exam score, becoming the third-ranked gang leader in the Economics department meant he was not to be trifled with.

At this moment, on a certain sports field, three young men sat in a corner, smoking and watching a video on their phones.

The video showed Zhou Hong holding a fishing net, dangling Qiu Minghao from the rooftop.

This video, which was filmed by someone during Zhou Hong's confrontation with Qiu Minghao, had been uploaded to the university forum and even shared in various class chat groups.

And these young men were none other than Wang Zhicheng, recognized as the most formidable figure in the Economics department.

“Brother Cheng, that idiot Qiu Minghao tried to establish his authority with the newcomer Zhou Hong, but ended up being dangled from the rooftop by Zhou Hong and peed himself. What do you think of this matter?” one of the followers asked.

“What do I think?” Wang Zhicheng snorted. He was actually somewhat displeased. Zhou Hong’s actions had made him as famous in the Economics department as himself.

“Brother Cheng, this newcomer Zhou Hong has become famous overnight. Now, he’s being discussed in class group chats across all majors in our Economics department. Furthermore, he’s about to replace Qiu Minghao as the third gang leader. His rise is undeniably fast.”

“Hmph, I wonder what his background is. I can’t figure him out, and I dare not act rashly against him,” Wang Zhicheng frowned.

“Brother Cheng, it’s not about whether you want to act against him anymore. It’s that Qiu Minghao has been dealt with. Based on my understanding of Qiu Minghao, he definitely won’t be satisfied. I suspect he’ll secretly instigate a conflict between you or Kang Bing Tian and Zhou Hong, and watch from the sidelines,” said a smarter follower beside Wang Zhicheng.

“You have a point. After Qiu Minghao was dealt with, he’ll definitely want me and Kang Bing Tian to have a conflict with Zhou Hong, or even a fight. No matter who wins or loses, Qiu Minghao will be happy.”

“Yes, so we are in a very passive situation. Students from the entire Economics department, and even the entire Jinzhou University, are watching us. If we don’t handle this quickly, it seems a fight is inevitable.”

“Then what do you suggest? This newcomer Zhou Hong is indeed formidable. Acting rashly against him carries significant risk. I see his arrogance; he must have some strength…”

“Brother Cheng, in my opinion, we should take the initiative. Invite him to a meal. This way, we can also gauge his strength,” suggested the smarter follower.
