Chapter 387: Chapter 387: Too Much Urea
"Sage Art: Truth-Seeking Orbs: Giant Tailed Beast Rasengan Explosion!"
As everyone knows, in the Naruto world, the longer and fancier a jutsu name is, and the more parts it has, the stronger it is.
If you just say something like "Fireball Jutsu," that’s weak. But if you throw on a prefix, like "Sage Art: Fireball Jutsu," that’s way better. Add even more, like "Six Paths Sage Art: Blaze Release: Fireball Jutsu," and now we’re talking.
Of course, that’s not to say short names are always weak.
If a short jutsu name has the word "God" in it, it’s usually broken—like Flying Thunder God, Kotoamatsukami, or Kamui.
Or if it’s literally named after gods—like Amaterasu or Tsukuyomi—yeah, it’s gonna be strong.
Kurama clearly understands that rule.
So he just goes all in and gives his jutsu super long, packed names.
More words, more power. Easy.
Take this jutsu, for example.
Just seeing that giant black Rasengan drop from the sky made Orochimaru and Minato feel like they were about to be crushed flat.
It was like being strapped to a bomb, fully aware it’s about to go off, and not being able to move.
Yeah. That kind of feeling.
"If I hadn’t already come up with a plan, I would’ve just run away without a second thought..." Orochimaru’s smile turned a bit strained.
Even someone like him felt his heart tighten when facing something this powerful.
Right after that, Orochimaru looked excited.
He instinctively stuck out his tongue and licked his lips, then glanced at Minato beside him.
"Well then, it’s up to you now, Minato."
Minato’s face was full of grief and frustration, but under the control of Edo Tensei, he couldn’t fight back.
He pulled out a kunai marked with the Flying Thunder God seal and forced his hands into a jutsu sign.
Staring up at the giant Rasengan in the sky, its pressure crashing down like a mountain, Minato quietly let out a breath.
"Even I can’t teleport something this big. Orochimaru’s plan is gonna fail."
He couldn’t speak, but his thoughts were still his own.
Just as he thought that, Orochimaru seemed to realize something too.
"Oh right, almost forgot—
You’re not strong enough right now to move a jutsu like this."
Minato’s heart sank.
In the next second, Orochimaru suddenly made a hand sign and slapped the ground with a creepy smile on his face.
Boom.
A huge cloud of smoke shot up.
Nine Jinchuriki, their bodies too damaged by the Truth-Seeking Orbs to regenerate, appeared in front of them.
Orochimaru gave Kinkaku and Ginkaku a disgusted look, then canceled their Edo Tensei without hesitation. "I already have the full Nine-Tails. I don’t need you two pretending to be useful."
"What are you doing?!" Minato stared at Orochimaru in shock. He couldn’t speak, but the question was clear in his eyes.
But the situation was urgent, and Orochimaru had no time to explain. He quickly formed a complex hand sign.
As chakra from the seven tailed beasts surged, and under Minato’s very unwilling gaze, all seven were transferred into his body. In that moment, something that had never existed in the ninja world was born — a Jinchuriki with eight tailed beasts.
Minato, the first person in history to hold eight tailed beasts in his body. Even though the Eight-Tails only had one horn left, its chakra was still strong.
Orochimaru maintained Edo Tensei with hand signs, eyes narrowed. "Minato, I’ve given you the chakra of all eight tailed beasts. Now it’s your time to shine."
Almost at the same time, a faint golden cloak of Hagoromo appeared on Minato. The chakra of the eight beasts turned into eight black tomoe marks on the cloak. The powerful chakra merged completely with Minato’s own, like an endless wave bursting out from within him.
But... he still couldn’t break free from Edo Tensei.
Minato clenched his teeth. "That bastard Orochimaru... he added a special curse just for me. Even with all this chakra, I still can’t break this damned jutsu."
His sealing skills weren’t weak. Maybe not as strong as Kushina’s, but under her guidance, he was better than most ninjas. He could use the Reaper Death Seal and Eight Trigrams Sealing—he even sealed the Dragon Vein. That alone showed how powerful he was in sealing techniques.
But still not as good as Kushina.
If Orochimaru hadn’t added extra control to the curse on him, Minato could’ve broken free from Edo Tensei right now by using the tailed beasts’ chakra, just like Hashirama and Madara did—breaking out through sheer chakra power and ninjutsu skill.
But the problem was, Orochimaru had improved Edo Tensei. His current body was made using White Zetsu, and the materials used to revive Minato were also White Zetsu...
...which gave Orochimaru way stronger control over the reanimated bodies.
You could tell from how he managed to force Hashirama, even with his power, to launch that one attack after lifting his limiters.
Minato was so pissed he wanted to swear out loud, but since the jutsu was created by the Second Hokage, he couldn’t quite bring himself to curse. He just muttered through gritted teeth, "Damn jutsu!"
The black Truth-Seeking Ball was getting closer. With the chakra of the eight tailed beasts behind him, Minato went all out. A massive black Flying Thunder God seal unfolded in the air, covering the entire sky in front of him. From above, it looked like the space below was collapsing.
Orochimaru watched with satisfaction, the corners of his mouth lifting into a slight grin.
As the Truth-Seeking Ball dropped, the collapsed space suddenly pushed upward, like a spring mattress catching it. The moment it hit, a surge of chakra burst out, shaking the very air around them.
The space was crushed under the pressure of the ball—but surprisingly, it didn’t collapse.
That enormous force was caught and held in place, and as Minato continued pouring out chakra, part of the ball started sinking into the dark space.
"Trying to teleport my attack?" Kurama, watching from the sky, frowned. "Don’t tell me this guy is planning to send it straight to Konoha?"
If that’s true, one shot from this thing could probably wipe out half of the Land of Fire.
"No way. Naruto would kill me!" Kurama clapped his hands together. Chakra started to surge—he was going to blow it up remotely before it could be sent anywhere.
But the next second, a pale gray Rinnegan appeared in front of Kurama, and at the same time, a powerful Genjutsu dropped right on him.
Kurama laughed. "Too bad for you—Genjutsu doesn’t work on me anymore!"
Now blow up!
Right after, the ball exploded. Wild chakra burst out, and in a flash, its force spread across the entire Land of Iron. The violent energy tore through the space itself, and in under three seconds, it looked like everything was about to rip apart and collapse.
Below, both Orochimaru and Minato were caught in the blast. If nothing changed, they’d both be turned into ashes under the force of the Truth-Seeking Ball.
But... Kurama couldn’t laugh anymore.
Orochimaru looked thrilled. His pale face even showed a bit of color from excitement. "Yes! The pieces... are all here!"
