Chapter 24 Min Hua University

After driving for almost a whole day, the three of them finally arrived in Chongxi City.

Looking at the bustling night view, Qiu Xi began to look forward to her next four years of university life.

"Let's check the location to see if we can find a hotel near the school to stay in first." Mom Qiu was a little worried, as it was the opening day, and she feared that all the hotels would be full.

"Okay, I'll go check."

Qiu Xi took out her phone and opened a yellow app to start checking.

"Dad, there really is one. I've booked it. I'll send you the location."

Seeing that there were still rooms available and they were close to the school, Qiu Xi booked it immediately.

"Okay, we'll head over now."

Since they had already eaten on the road, the three of them rested after checking in.

The day's drive had been quite tiring, and it was already late.

"Mmm~"

It was almost noon on the second day when Qiu Xi's phone started ringing non-stop.

After lounging for half the morning, she finally got up, picked up her phone, and took a look. Besides the ringtone, there were calls from her parents.

She then checked the time and realized it was almost 11 o'clock.

The person who had been half-asleep a moment ago immediately put on her shoes and started getting ready.

Just as she finished, the phone rang again.

"Xiao Xi, are you awake?" Mom Qiu didn't say much on the phone. They had only arrived late last night, and she understood.

"I'm awake, just finished getting ready."

"That's good. Come downstairs to find me and your dad later. Reporting is tomorrow, so let's go see your school after we eat something."

"Okay, I'll be right down." Seeing Books

After hanging up the phone, Qiu Xi grabbed her things, put on her shoes, and went downstairs.

As soon as she came down, she received a verbal greeting from her father, "Did you rest well?"

"Yeah, after another meal, I'll be revived."

"Since you're hungry, you two, father and daughter, stop chatting and go eat first."

"Let's go, listen to your mom and get something to eat first."

"Okay."

They found a restaurant, and after quickly satisfying their hunger, Qiu Xi and her parents set off for Min Hua University.

It was the annual event of welcoming new students. At this time, Min Hua University was adorned with welcome banners.

Although registration hadn't officially started, many people were already wandering around the campus. Most of them were similar to Qiu Xi's family.

Looking at the gilded characters "Min Hua University" at the school entrance, Qiu Xi felt the profound heritage of a top university, inexplicably, perhaps it was just because of these four characters themselves.

"Xiao Xi, let's go. I'll take you inside to get acquainted with the layout," Dad Qiu said, looking at his daughter who seemed lost in thought.

Returning to her senses, Qiu Xi replied, "Okay."

As they walked from the main gate inwards, they saw a campus map next to the pathway.

Seeing the vast area, Qiu Xi decided to drag her parents along to ride shared bikes around campus.

The first stop of their shared campus tour: the library.

The library at Min Hua University was very Chinese and retro. From the outside, it resembled a square Chinese knot, and the decor featured large red lattice patterns.

Since they hadn't enrolled yet, they couldn't go inside to get a closer look.

However, its exterior alone was enough to convey its "literary depth."

Next were the various teaching buildings, the athletic field, and so on. They visited each spot, with the canteen being the final destination.

In the end, because there were too many canteens and it wasn't mealtime, Qiu Xi thought it would be better to visit them with her roommates later.

After the "campus tour," besides the library, what left a deep impression on Qiu Xi was the commercial street within the school.

Due to its terrain and space, the commercial street was located on the first basement level compared to other buildings.

However, it was fully equipped with shops, covering all aspects of life, which was very satisfactory. It felt no different from shopping outside.

Moreover, being within the school added an extra touch of charm.

After leaving the school, Dad Qiu and Mom Qiu took Qiu Xi out to shop for a while longer, buying some essential daily necessities for the dormitory.

The day passed just like that, and they waited for the reporting tomorrow.
