"Oh, you made me pour the wrong seasoning! I meant to pour ginger-scallion oil, but I poured chili oil instead! Go wait over there; I can't cook with you like this!"
"It's fine, I like more chili." Tianyi continued to tease her as if nothing had happened.
Susu gasped, feeling annoyed, and wanted to push him away.
He, however, pressed his advantage, saying, "Mrs. Qin, don't bother with the shrimp. Feed your husband first."
While she was still preparing the shrimp, her face began to flush. Her voice softened as she said, "Mr. Qin, can't you wait until I finish this dish..."
"Look back at me later."
"Qin Tianyi!"
"Just glance back at me."
Susu angrily turned off the heat and turned to face him, about to unleash her fury, "What's so great about you..."
Tianyi reached out and lifted her chin, staring at her lips. His gaze was unrestrained as he said, "You don't even listen to your husband anymore. You promised you'd always listen to me, that you'd obey me in everything..."
"Are you being unreasonable? I was cooking just now. Didn't we agree to eat something first?"
"That's not important. I only want you."
Susu looked at his upper body, clad only in a bath towel, his chiseled muscles making her involuntarily swallow.
She wasn't without primal desire for him, but she was more shy than he was, unable to express herself so boldly.
"I'm afraid you won't be able to perform if you haven't eaten enough."
But as soon as the words left her mouth, she regretted them. No man liked being told he couldn't perform.
Tianyi's eyes darkened. "You'll find out if I can or not in a moment."
After he had his way with her, she was so exhausted she just wanted to lie on the bed in the cabin and not move.
Tianyi, however, considerately finished cooking the shrimp she hadn't prepared and brought it to her. He speared a piece of shrimp with a fork and brought it to her lips, "Darling, try a bite."
Susu closed her eyes and opened her mouth. As soon as she bit into the shrimp, she found it both spicy and salty, almost spitting it out immediately. She hit the bed, saying, "What a waste of such fresh shrimp."
Tianyi tasted it himself and found it quite delicious. "I think it tastes fine."
Susu continued to lie weakly on the bed, looking at him as he sat. "Your sense of taste is off."
Tianyi chuckled helplessly. "How long do you plan to stay in bed? Do you want to dive to the bottom of the sea to see coral and fish?"
As he spoke, he prepared to go eat the shrimp himself. Susu grabbed him, stopping him. "Don't go, my, my back..."
Tianyi smiled and sat back down beside her, not forgetting to ask, "So, can I or can't I?"
"You can, you absolutely can." Susu had no choice but to act submissive and coo, "I still want to go diving, but my back is so sore. Help me rub it, hold me."
Tianyi amusingly put down the plate, enjoying her pouting. He gently massaged her back and carried her into the kitchen, placing a steak in front of her. "The steak is yours, the shrimp is mine."
Susu sat at the kitchen table without touching the food, saying like a baby, "I'm so tired, I can't move. Husband, feed me."
Tianyi chuckled softly. "I never knew you could be so spoiled. You've got me wrapped around your finger. I promise I won't bother you again when you're cooking."
Susu smiled and continued to act spoiled. "Enough talk, feed me the steak first, ah." She opened her mouth like a child again, waiting for him to feed her.
After they had eaten their fill and returned from the cabin to the deck, the sky was already painted with the hues of sunset.
In the distance, the setting sun bled across the sea, its light brilliant.
"Husband, the sun is setting. Can we still go diving, or do we need to head back?" Susu thought they wouldn't see any coral today.
Tianyi checked the time. "It's still early. I'll take you for another dive, and then we'll head back."
Susu hummed in agreement, confident in Tianyi. She knew he must have dived frequently before, and his skills wouldn't be inferior to any diving instructor.
They changed into their diving suits again. This time, Tianyi asked her to bring a waterproof flashlight.
When they first submerged, the water was still bright. Tianyi led her deeper and deeper, and the light gradually dimmed.
Tianyi gestured for her to turn on the flashlight. Suddenly, a dense cluster of coral appeared before them, like a vibrant red wall. Through the small gaps, countless colorful fish darted back and forth.
The underwater scenery was so breathtaking that Susu found it overwhelming, utterly fascinating.
Tianyi continued to lead her down. After swimming for a short while, he gestured for her to turn off the flashlight again.
As soon as their flashlights went out, Susu felt an indescribable sense of suffocation, as if they were in a bottomless, pitch-black abyss.
Tianyi gently tugged the rope connecting them and pointed at something in the darkness with his hand. Suddenly, some plankton in the sea began to glow.
He seemed to sense the plankton around them and continued to point, one after another, causing the plankton to light up, like fireflies in a summer field.
Susu, imitating him, reached out and randomly pointed around them, accidentally illuminating a few plankton.
In the vast darkness, clusters of glowing plankton were like sea spirits, exquisitely beautiful.
As Susu marveled at this spectacle, a school of silver fish quickly swam past them.
Tianyi turned on his flashlight again and signaled for her to ascend. Together, they slowly surfaced.
By then, the sun had set, and the sky was completely dark. Apart from their flashlights, only the yacht's lights were visible.
The once beautiful sea had become incredibly dark. They climbed onto the deck and removed their diving suits. Tianyi's tone was urgent as he said, "We need to head back immediately. There might be a storm."
Susu glanced at the dark sea around them. There was still no wind or waves. She asked, "Besides it being dark, there are no waves. Where is this storm coming from?"
Tianyi didn't have time to explain. He hurried into the cockpit, the auto-navigation system locked onto the return coordinates, and started the yacht.
Susu was no longer excited by the spectacular sights she had seen while snorkeling. She only felt that the dark, night sea was terrifying, as if some giant monster lurked beneath the dark surface, ready to churn up colossal waves and emerge from the depths.
Afraid to stay on deck alone, she also went into the cockpit, staying close to Tianyi.
Tianyi steered the boat with a serious expression and then explained to her, "Do you remember the school of silver fish you saw underwater just now?"
"Yes, what about them? They swam past in such a magnificent school." She would never forget the underwater scene.
"When they swim past quickly in schools, it's a sign of an approaching storm. Animals are often more sensitive to weather changes than humans; it's their nature." Tianyi had already accelerated the yacht to full throttle.
Susu looked out at the exceptionally beautiful night sky. Seeing the stars at sea was even more magnificent, and she didn't feel any sign of a storm.
Tianyi thought of something and said to her, "Go to the cabin and put on a jacket. Then grab two life jackets. Hurry."
