Chapter 268: STRANGE EYES
KI GAYOON was worried.
Noh Yuno was acting strange.
I mean, my Babe Princess has always been weird. But it seems different this time. He’s actually scaring me because he looks so spooked.
Plus, Noh Yuno had hurt himself.
Actually, Ki Gayoon almost had a heart attack when he caught Noh Yuno scratching his eyes hard— so hard that he thought his lover was about to gouge his eyeballs out.
And, now, his lover was looking at Moon Noa and Haru like he had seen a monster.
"What’s wrong, Yuno-ya?" Ki Gayoon asked worriedly. "Talk to me."
"H-Hyung, do you see that?" Noh Yuno asked, stuttering, while pointing at Moon Noa and Haru. "There are numbers floating above Sajangnim and Haru-nim’s heads!"
Oh.
"I don’t see what you’re seeing, but that doesn’t mean you’re hallucinating," Ki Gayoon said firmly while grabbing Noh Yuno’s shoulder. And then he grabbed his chin with his other hand, forcing his lover to look at him. "Yuno-ya, is it scary?"
Noh Yuno blinked, and then he furrowed his brows as if he were confused. "No, they’re not. I’m just a bit startled, but..." He paused, and then blinked rapidly. "Yeah, those things aren’t scary. So, why am I acting like a scaredy-cat?"
"I actually like that you’re acting like this," Ki Gayoon said bluntly. "It’s not that I enjoy seeing you scared. I’m just relieved to know that you’re still familiar with fear. Remember that feeling and think twice before you do something reckless again."
"Aigoo. Why are you suddenly scolding me? You should be comforting me, Hyung."
"If you want me to console you, then take off your clothes and cry under me—"
Ki Gayoon wasn’t able to finish his heartfeltencouragement because Noh Yuno covered his mouth with his hand while shooting him a cold look.
"Don’t piss me off, Ahjuhyung."
Heh.
Ki Gayoon kissed the palm of Noh Yuno’s hand, causing his lover to blush.

HYUNG is a bigger pervert than I thought.
Yuno rolled his eyes when Ki Gayoon kissed the palm of the hand covering his mouth, and then the Esper licked it.
He didn’t say anything and just withdrew his hand quietly.
It wasn’t like he hated it anyway.
"Have you calmed down, Yuno-ya?"
"Yes, Hyung," Yuno said, nodding. "Thank you."
Ki Gayoon then gently patted Yuno’s head. "Do you want me to escort them out?"
"No, it’s alright, Hyung. I can manage."
"Are you sure."
"Yes, but..." Yuno hesitated, and then he grabbed the hem of Ki Gayoon’s shirt shyly. "Stay with me, Hyung."
"I’m not going anywhere," Ki Gayoon said, then he grabbed Yuno’s hand and entwined their fingers together. "And hold my hand, not my shirt. You’ve already touched every inch and crook of my body. Why are you being shy now?"
Aigoo.
Yuno wanted to talk back to Ki Gayoon, but he figured it would only drain his energy.
So, he just ignored his lover.
Plus, it wasn’t the right time for that anyway.
"Yuyu, what’s wrong?" Moon Noa asked cautiously. "What do you see above our heads?"
"Numbers..."
"Numbers?" Haru asked in an interested tone, which rarely happened. After all, the ex-prince was only mostly interested in Moon Noa. "Could it be the remaining days we have left? Like in that old anime?"
Aigoo.
Haru-nim’s otaku-ness is showing.
"I don’t think the number indicates your remaining days," Yuno said, standing up. To be honest, at this point, he was just following his instincts. "Sajangnim, Haru-nim, can you hold my hands?"
Yuno then extended his hands to the two.
Moon Noa grabbed his left hand while Haru grabbed the right.
After that, something amazing happened.
Wow, it’s like magic.
Yuno watched as the numbers floating above Moon Noa and Haru’s heads disappeared, only to return with a more definite ’computation’ this time.
100%.
The line that appeared above Moon Noa and Haru’s heads this time was bold and big.
"100%," Yuno said, looking at Moon Noa and Haru back and forth. "Sajangnim, Haru-nim, you have a 100% matching rate."
Moon Noa and Haru both looked shocked by Yuno’s ’diagnosis.’
But, fortunately, they didn’t look at him as if he had just lost his mind.
"It’s different from the matching rate that we took before," Moon Noa said. "But we have a 100% matching rate now?"
"I believe you, Yuno-kun," Haru said, his eyes sparkling. "Thank you."
Aigoo.
Yuno was amused by Moon Noa and Haru’s different reactions to the news.
"Babe Princess, you can see an Esper and a Guide’s matching rate now?" Ki Gayoon asked, swiftly pulling Yuno’s hands away from Moon Noa and Haru’s grasp. "It’s not that I don’t believe you. But how do you know that it’s the meaning of those numbers?"
"I actually don’t know either, Hyung," Yuno said, shrugging. "So, it’s fine if you don’t believe me. I’m not sure what exactly is happening, after all."
Actually, he had this nagging feeling that something big was changing inside him.
But he couldn’t be bothered using his brainpower to figure it out.
Not yet, at least.
Can’t I catch a break in the meantime?
"We can worry about that later," Ki Gayoon said, cupping Yuno’s face between his hands. "For now, let’s treat the scratches around your eyes. Don’t they sting, Yuno-ya?"
As soon as the Esper asked that, Yuno felt it.
The itch was gone, but the sting lingered.
"It hurts, Hyung," Yuno whined, closing his eyes tight. "Do something about it, please."

"NOA-SAN, how about making our relationship official?"
Aigoo.
Moo Noa sighed while shaking his head.
He returned to the guest room with Haru while Ki Gayoon was still treating Noh Yuno’s scratches.
Plus, he needed to get away from the two in order to think.
"It’s rare for an Esper and a Guide to have a 100% matching rate," Haru said, sounding excited even though his face remained stoic. "If you want me to change my citizenship to follow you in your country, I’ll do it in a heartbeat, Noa-san."
"HaruHaru, you have a Guide— you have Osaki Shohei," Moon Noa reminded Haru in a serious tone. "Bambi stole Ryu Sungbin from me, and I suffered for years because of that. I don’t want your Guide to syffer the same fate because of me."
"I already ended things with Osaki Shohei."
"What?"
"I asked Osaki Shohei to stop being my Guide before I left to rescue you," Haru said in a serious tone. "Noa-san, it has to be you— you’re the only one for me."
Now Moon Noa was left speechless.
Has he lost his mind?

YUNO’s scratches had healed quickly, thanks to the high-grade potion that Ki Gayoon used on him.
But his eyes remained strange.
"Hyung, is Esper 17 the #1 World Ranker at the moment?"
"I think so," Ki Gayoon said nonchalantly. "Why?"
Yuno blinked before making eye contact with Ki Gayoon. "My Status Window says I match with Esper 17 well—"
Oops.
Yuno wasn’t able to finish his sentence because Ki Gayoon’s Mana suddenly spiked as his face darkened.
Aigoo.
I forgot how jealous Gayoon Hyung can be...
