Chapter 121: Sulen Family’s Situation
"Hey, what exactly happened? I was terrified when I heard that explosion."
"Me too! I thought Dimensional Rift was opening here."
"It was a Red Night Tavern. It was a property of the Sulen Family, right? Someone blew that."
"Really? Who? How can someone have such guts?"
"The Sulen Family is still investigating. I heard nearly sixty people from the family died. You know, these were all bodyguards, workers, and even part-time employees."
"Who has such guts to challenge the Sulen Family? Could it be the other four families?"
"Do you really think they would do it in such a high-profile manner?"
While listening to their conversation, Tyler slowly made his way to the house.
.............
Inside the Sulen Family Mansion;
"Have you found the culprit?" The Head of the Family asked. He wore a black jacket and pants. He had long hair that he tied into a ponytail.
His body was also huge. His black eyes were looking at a lady sitting near the bed and sobbing.
Three people were kneeling near the door. These were the guards selected by the Head himself.
When he asked that question, one of the guards replied.
"No, Lord! We have investigated the scene and got some answers, but they don’t point out to our enemy."
"In the eyes of witnesses, Young Lord and three people were running to chase someone. But nobody knew who that person was."
Hearing that, the Head of the Sulen Family’s expression sank as he said.
"Have you confirmed the news about our guests?"
"Yes, Lord! Young Master Alex and his bodyguards were having a meeting in that tavern."
"When the disaster struck, we believe it was Young Master Alex and his bodyguard who chased after the culprit."
"We only know they have left the city. Our people are searching everywhere around the city, trying to find the clues about their situation."
"Situation? What situation? My son has died. His broken life tablet is in my hands."
The lady who was crying on the bed rose and shouted at the guard.
The guards lowered their heads.
"Jamon, we can’t let the culprit get away. We must send every member of the family to search for them. It must be Helen’s Family."
"They were the ones trying to fight us."
Hearing that, the Head of the family, Jamon, had an angry expression.
"Stupid woman, our son is dead. I am sad about his death, but do you understand what would happen if he were involved in the death of Young Master Alex?"
"Do you think other families have the guts to enrage Ditto Family. I am only at the Core Formation Realm."
"I am the strongest in the family. They have as many Core Formation Realm cultivators as there are dogs in this city."
"Do you think they have the guts to challenge such a power? Do you understand what we are facing here?"
"Your stupid son brought Young Master Alex to an unsafe place, and it resulted in this death. Do you understand what we will be facing next?"
Hearing his angry words, the woman’s expression calmed down a little. Although she was sad, she also realized the desperate situation.
After she calmed down, Jamon turned toward the guards and asked.
"Have you found any suspects?"
The guards hesitated for a moment before answering.
"We have two suspects. A few days ago, our family’s young cultivators were killed by ten people. Young Lord has been finding clues about these people."
"One of the prime suspects is Alice Helen. Unfortunately, the clues were all taken away by Young Lord."
"He said that he found something that could help him reach in-depth cooperation with Ditto Family, and he didn’t want others to find out about it."
At this moment, a sneer came from outside the door as another middle-aged man walked in.
"By others, did he mean me? I knew that stupid brother of mine always wanted your position, but I never thought he would be so desperate for it."
"Now he is dead, and the main clue is gone."
"Jason, he is still your brother." Jamon spoke with a harsh tone.
Jason shrugged his shoulders and said.
"That’s why I tried searching for the clues. One of them points at Alice Helen, and the other one points at Tyler Carlos, the number one genius of our planet."
"In this situation, unless we have enough evidence, we can’t make a direct move against them; otherwise, Holy Sanctum will make its move."
"But that stupid brother of mine took all of that evidence to his grave. And do you know the funny thing about his death?"
"Jason!"
His mother angrily roared.
"He is your brother."
"And, he is dead."
Jason retorted. He looked directly at his father’s eyes and said.
"You wasted him. He had no talent, but he always thought he was above others. Look at me! I am one step away from reaching your strength."
"I am twenty years younger than you, and I am only three years older than that stupid guy."
"Instead of making him realize the reality, you just kept him encased in his delusional world, and now he paid for your mistakes with his life."
"He is nothing. Our family is nothing in front of the Great Ditto Family or Holy Sanctum."
Saying so, he turned around. But before he stepped out of the room, he looked back and sneered.
"You want my suggestion? Go and try killing that son of bitch. If he kills you, he will be the culprit."
"If he can’t, you will either be facing the wraith of Ditto Family and Holy Sanctum."
With those words, he left the room.
Leaving his father and mother contemplating his words. After a long sigh, he looked at the guards and said.
"Go and find those people. Make them confess that they saw Tyler Carlos that night."
"Jamon!"
His wife’s voice came as he shook his head and said.
"I am the Head of the Family, Carla. I can’t afford to enrage these two powers. Jason is right. I am to blame for Sarin’s death."
"And, I will take the punishment."
