Chapter 99: The Selvaris Family (2)
I looked around for any sight of the woman before finally seeing her at the top of the stairs.
Her long violet hair spilled like silk down her back, catching the light with a soft, almost ethereal glow. Eyes the same shade–deep, luminous amethyst watched the world with calm authority. The dress she wore clung elegantly to her form, midnight fabric trimmed in silver, flowing at the hem like ripples of moonlight.
My eyes also couldn’t help but notice the opening of the dress around her chest. I could be imagining or maybe I’ve just been out of it lately... Is she an E-cup? Her boobs are huge, but they somehow managed to suit her figure quite well.
Rika would definitely be on my ass right now if she was here... Especially with me obviously checking out the woman in front of me like this. I didn’t expect her to have such an appearance so it isn’t my fault this time around.
She made her way down the steps and eventually over to me. "Flustered already? I can’t say I’m surprised. My name is Selene." She teases before introducing herself.
"I-I’m Rokuro... I was told you’d be the one talking to me more about everything." I respond with nervousness in my voice.
A smile forms on her face as she gets a bit closer to me, her breathing was almost lingering near my face. "Of course. I’d love to talk to you Rokuro. Come along now." She says before walking past me.
It seems I’ll be following her for the time being but I don’t know what that’ll mean just yet for me. Raizen seems to be gone already so I’ll assume that she will be handling everything and anything that is going on.
She is a lot different from what I expected, it is definitely quite obvious why she is the main image for the family. It is very understandable for why men might give their undying support but I’m not sure about the women.
Maybe they love her confidence or authority, something along those lines.
Either way I followed behind her until we reached a room. "Inside here." She instructs as she opens up the door.
Inside the room was a small office like space with plenty of what seems to be family heirlooms, paintings, and even completely different colors compared to the outside of the manor.
In this room there was a red carpet with gold laced throughout the edges, a nice oakwood desk that appears to have perfect craftsmanship behind every groove, and of course the chair that she sat in right behind it.
She gestured for me to take a seat in front of her so I did. It was just a lot to take in at first.
"I’m sure you’ve had quite a night. I would like to talk to more about what happened." Selene says while placing her hands on the desk.
"I just helped with a fight against someone who invaded Elyndra." I reply while trying not to let the nervousness overtake me again.
Her glare felt as if it was looking directly into my soul. "We are very grateful for that, in fact we want to give you a reward." Selene says with happiness in her voice.
I’m not entirely sure if it’ll be a good idea for me to take some sort of reward from them... It just feels like a bad idea personally. Unless I get to make a choice on what I want for a reward.
I could use it as a way to get some information out of her.
"What kind of reward exactly?" I question with a bit of curiosity.
"I figured you’d be a curious one. I’ll reward you with me for today, how does that sound?’ she responds before beginning to wait for my answer. An even bigger smile with a bit of blush in her cheeks.
"Y--You? What do you mean by that?" I ask, clearly caught off guard by her answer.
Selene leans over the desk a bit as she looks closer into my eyes. "Exactly as it sounds. I don’t reward just anyone like this but you did save the city." She answers with a bit of a tease.
Her boobs were all I could see in front of me right now, clearly it was an easy way for her to win me over right now. Damnit... I lean back in my chair and try to calm myself down a bit.
I can’t let myself be persuaded by such a beautiful woman who obviously knows what she has. To her it seems like a weapon for her to use to get what she wants from me but I’m not that much of a... What’s the word?
Eh, it doesn’t matter right now. Just I’m not going to give in because of what she’s doing all of a sudden. If anything this also means I can talk to her today about everything going on.
Instead I could treat it as the way to get all the information I need.
"So what do you say?" Selene asks while sitting back in her chair as well.
"There’s definitely a lot I’d like to know, If you can give me the answers that is." I respond while taking in her beauty.
We sit there for a few moments as she seems to think on what I said. "So you’d rather talk? I suppose I don’t mind talking for a bit instead." Selene says with a bit of disappointment in her voice.
I’m just as disappointed Selene... I would’ve loved to get some experience for once but I am dealing with more important matters. Or am I just giving myself a justified reason to refuse it?
I definitely do need to get laid at some point soon, it shouldn’t have taken this long but my priorities are everywhere but that. Even though I’m surrounded by some really beautiful women.
"Yes. There is a lot that I’d like to ask you about." I respond without any hesitation. Slowly moving past the disappointment I feel.
