Chapter 2 A Beauty Seeks Aid, Mother is Humiliated

After walking for an hour, Chen Jiuyang arrived at the bus stop and waited for the bus.

Sitting on the chair, Chen Jiuyang circulated the "Eight-Nine Profound Art" to restore his physical strength and spirit.

Hmm?

Suddenly, a cool BMW sports car stopped not far from him by the bridge, and a woman got out.

This woman was wearing a pure white, vibrant wedding dress that accentuated her graceful, curvaceous, and hot figure. She wore high heels, revealing a section of her fair and flawless calves. Her upper body was extremely full, and as she walked, it swayed as if about to burst through her clothes.

She walked to the front of the bridge and actually tore off her wedding dress with her hands. She took off her high heels, her fair, jade-like feet standing on the bridge. With a sudden leap, she jumped off the bridge!

Not good, she's going to commit suicide!

Chen Jiuyang immediately withdrew from his cultivation state. In the blink of an eye, he was at the edge of the bridge and jumped into the river.

The woman had already fallen into the river and lost consciousness. Chen Jiuyang raised his hand in the water, channeling his true qi. An invisible suction force sent the woman's delicate body into Chen Jiuyang's embrace. Immediately, Chen Jiuyang, holding the woman, walked out of the river and returned to the bank.

The woman's skin was exceptionally good, like a work of art.

Chen Jiuyang placed her on the flat grassland. Looking at the woman, who was wet and unconscious, he felt a pang of pity. However, he suppressed his agitation and circulated the true qi in his body, instantly evaporating the water on his skin.

Then, he touched a wisp of true qi to the woman's brow. After a moment, the woman woke up.

Chen Jiuyang took off his sweat-soaked shirt and threw it to her: "Put this on."

The woman then realized that she had been saved by the man in front of her, and she was only wearing her undergarments and panties. Her pretty face immediately turned red. After putting on Chen Jiuyang's shirt, she looked even more charming and alluring.

Her upper body was bulging, and although her lower body was covered by the shirt, more than half of her legs were exposed to the air.

This was more like some adult-only clothing, with too little fabric and too much exposure, making one's thoughts wander.

After a while, the woman said calmly: "Thank you."

Chen Jiuyang glanced at her indifferently: "Why did you want to end your life?"

The beauty was like jade, and moreover, such an exceptional stunner.

The woman's expression was desolate, and her tone was mournful and self-deprecating: "I have an incurable disease and don't have much time left. My family wants to sell me for a good price, to squeeze out my last bit of value."

As she spoke, her tone held a hint of determination: "I would rather commit suicide than become a commodity for their transactions!"

Chen Jiuyang secretly thought, indeed, this stunner had ice-like skin and jade-like bones, with a curvaceous figure that was truly hot. Any man who saw her would have thoughts.

Her body was deeply accumulated with cold qi, incurable by medicine. She had at most three to five months left, but she encountered Chen Jiuyang. Chen Jiuyang possessed the Nine-Nine Pure Yang body, which made Chen Jiuyang feel a bit of pity.

The woman's resolute character was somewhat to Chen Jiuyang's liking.

Chen Jiuyang took out a cigarette, lit it, and slowly took a puff, exhaling a cloud of white smoke: "You don't want to live anymore?"

The woman shook her head: "I have an incurable disease, and I have at most a few months to live. What's the point of wanting to live?"

Chen Jiuyang flicked the ash off his cigarette and said nonchalantly: "Actually, your cold qi incurable disease isn't untreatable."

"What did you say?" The woman looked at him with surprise.

Chen Jiuyang said no more, but stood up and walked upwards.

The woman looked at her wet body, then at the dry Chen Jiuyang. She hesitated for a moment, then stood up and followed behind Chen Jiuyang.

Returning to the bus stop by the roadside on the bridge, Chen Jiuyang said: "Didn't you want to die? Why are you following me?"

The woman's face flushed with anger, and she gritted her teeth in unwillingness: "If my illness could be cured, how dare they treat me as a commodity to be traded?"

"As long as you want to live, that's fine." Chen Jiuyang finished his last puff of the cigarette, stubbed out the butt, and smiled: "I have a way."

"My name is Yao Zixuan," Yao Zixuan said. "May I know your name?"

Yao Zixuan found that although Chen Jiuyang was dressed shabbily, his appearance was handsome and his demeanor extraordinary. Even in a sweat shirt, one could see the well-proportioned, testosterone-filled muscles of Chen Jiuyang's upper body.

"Chen Jiuyang."

Chen Jiuyang said: "If you drive me home, perhaps I can help delay your cold condition and let you live a few more days. Do you want to live?"

"Yes!"

"Then let's go." Chen Jiuyang, with a carefree expression, got into Yao Zixuan's car.

Yao Zixuan hesitated for a moment, then walked to the front of the bridge, put on her crystal high heels, changed into her regular clothes inside the car, and drove away with Chen Jiuyang.

Chen Jiuyang's home was in Chengyan Village, on the outskirts of Ziyang County, which was under Fengcheng.

One side of the road was lined with towering office buildings and apartment complexes, while the other side was rural.

After driving for an hour, they finally reached Chen Jiuyang's home.

A detached old house with red brick walls and tiled roofs.

As Chen Jiuyang got out of the car and walked to his doorstep, he found the main door tightly shut.

This gave him a bad feeling.

"Mom, I'm back!" he knocked on the door and shouted into the house.

The house was silent for a moment, then he heard footsteps, somewhat agitated.

"Creak—"

The main door opened, and a middle-aged woman looked at Chen Jiuyang standing outside the door with an excited expression.

"Yang'er, you're finally back!"

Mother Chen was excited, her voice choked with emotion. She quickly pulled Chen Jiuyang into the house and then firmly closed the main door.

Chen Jiuyang was extremely puzzled. Before he could ask, his mother pulled him aside and started fussing over him.

"Son, you've lost weight. Where have you been all year?"

"Never mind, as long as you're back safe."

It was good to be home. Seeing his mother so excited, Chen Jiuyang's heart warmed.

"Mom, how have you and my sister been doing while I was away?" Chen Jiuyang asked with a smile.

"Jiuyang, your sister and I are doing well," Mother Chen said with a look of relief.

But…

Chen Jiuyang scanned the room. It was bare. Even the old CRT television from his memory was gone. The entire large room had only a table and chairs left.

For a moment, Chen Jiuyang's heart felt as if it were being twisted by a knife, followed by self-blame and guilt.

While he was away, his mother and sister had lived such a hard life!

His heart felt like it was blocked by a stone. His expression turned grim, and he pointed to the empty room, his voice trembling: "Mom, is this what you call doing well?"

"It's alright, your sister and I are doing well, Jiuyang, don't worry," Mother Chen forced a smile.

"Mom, what's with the injury on your face!" At this moment, Chen Jiuyang suddenly noticed that his mother's face was swollen. His expression darkened:

"Mom, what exactly happened at home!"
