Zhao Biao looked over blankly. He hadn't been a beast tamer for long and lacked experience with these hidden contract beasts.
Qiu Xia nodded.
"These contract beasts are small, only about the size of a head. However, they possess a special ability: as long as they find a recently deceased contract beast, they can possess its body and control it!"
Zhao Biao immediately panicked.
"There are such bizarre contract beasts?!"
He had never heard of them before, but the terrifying method sent shivers down his spine!
Qiu Xia shook his head, muttering, "But in my memory, these contract beasts were very kind. Why is the one before me so bloodthirsty?"
"My teacher once told me that because they were too weak, [Parasitic Beasts] would live with other contract beast herds, seeking their protection."

Ironhead suddenly opened its mouth, and arcs of electricity erupted from its body, coalescing into threads. Simultaneously, Ironhead's speed drastically increased as it shot forward like lightning towards the bone monster.
The bone monster's arm bones rapidly thrust forward, but this time, the opponent was merely circling it. The bone monster's cumbersome attacks were completely unable to land.
The bone monster, in a fit of rage, abandoned its arm bone attacks and began to spin rapidly on the ground like a runaway tire, relentlessly pursuing Ironhead. Even though Ironhead's speed had reached its peak, this monster, in its barrel form, was no slower!

Just then, a larger object surged across the lake's surface. It descended like a massive stone from a peak, smashing heavily into the water.

A thunderous clap echoed in the air, sending a geyser of water soaring towards the heavens. Many innocent contract beasts were blasted out and crashed heavily onto the ground.
The bone monster, now submerged, still locked its target onto Ironhead, but this was precisely Lu Fei's plan!
"Ironhead! Unleash your remaining strength!"

Receiving the combat command, Ironhead roared, and the lightning arcs on its body gathered. First as distorted lines, then all converging onto the broken sword. The broken sword seemed to draw some mysterious power as lightning wrapped around its uneven surface.
