Chapter 407: Let’s Get Married!
Chapter 407: Hancock: Let’s Get Married! Yamato and Uta!
Black Dragon single-handedly blocked the attacks of three Four Emperors and Dragon. This scene greatly boosted the morale of the Marines.
A strong cheer erupted. "Fleet Admiral Black Dragon!"
Hearing the soldiers’ cheers, Black Dragon’s mouth curved into a smile. He waved his hand. "Everyone, attack!"
Thus, pirates and Marines engaged in war on the frozen ice surface. An unprecedented, chaotic battle.
And just above this battlefield, two unnoticed ships floated strangely in the sky. They were Nami’s and Hancock’s ships.
"Ren, why did you bring these two up here?" Nami was referring to Yamato and Uta, who were no longer restrained by Seastone handcuffs. They were also confused.
Yamato even said boldly, "Why am I here? Who died down there?" From her vantage point, she could still see her own body, its heart dug out, lying dead on the execution platform below.
"You are both already dead. I saved you," Ren said, sounding like an old scoundrel as he casually unlocked their shackles.
"Huh? Why didn’t you save those three guys?" Yamato stretched her wrists, even more puzzled. She seemed not to recognize Ren and the others at all.
Ren just smiled. "Because they are men, and you two are women. And you look pretty good." He was just that kind of double-standard, capricious person.
Nami was speechless and pouted. "I knew you were after their beauty."
"Beauty?" Yamato looked at her large physique. Am I considered beautiful like this?
Uta, however, didn’t think too much. Looking at the slaughter below, her expression was somewhat sad. She wanted to create a peaceful world with her singing.
At this moment, Hancock also walked over, her restraints already undone by Robin. Her crew members had also been transferred to Nami’s ship, but they were all remarkably well-behaved.
Hancock didn’t know what power Ren used to arrive at Marineford directly from the Calm Belt. She found it even harder to understand this man who knew her secret, yet didn’t look at her with strange eyes and was unaffected by her charm. What exactly was he thinking?
Hancock asked, "What are you planning to do in this chaos?"
"Do what?" Ren pointed to the figure fighting fiercely below, who had transformed into a dragon-human with black wings. "Kill that Fleet Admiral and end the chaos of the sea."
"End the chaos?" Uta and Yamato also looked over.
"The source of chaos—pirates, criminals, evil people, as well as the World Government and the Celestial Dragons—are all our targets for elimination."
"You’re going to attack the Celestial Dragons?" Hancock was horrified. They were the World Nobles who had left an indelible, invisible mark on her.
Ren looked at her with a hint of amusement, his words striking at the core. "Do you think the Celestial Dragons can’t be killed? Just like the indelible Hoof of the Soaring Dragon on your back?"
Being reminded of the brand again, Hancock nervously looked at her crew members, afraid they might hear.
"Don’t worry, they can’t hear us talking." Ren wasn’t so excessive as to completely expose others’ privacy.
"..." Receiving this information, Hancock breathed a sigh of relief, but she bit her silver teeth and remained silent.
Ren extended a hand. "Give me your hand."
Hancock didn’t want to touch a man, but now she was a prisoner. She could only reluctantly extend her hand.
"!!!"
The moment she touched his fingertips, a warm current rushed into her body. The warmth eventually gathered at her back, and she felt the brand heating up.
Hancock wanted to pull her hand back, but Ren had already released it. He said casually, "The Hoof of the Soaring Dragon on your back has disappeared."
"What?"
Hancock didn’t care about the others’ gazes and reached out to take off her outer clothing.
"Sister!" Her two sisters tried to stop her in horror, but it was too late.
Hancock’s nearly perfect body was revealed. The other female crew members of the Kuja Pirates instantly spurted nosebleeds and fainted.
"Why did you just take off your clothes like that? You have no shame!" Perona clearly harbored animosity towards Hancock. After all, she was the only one who had been petrified.
Hancock tried to look behind her but couldn’t see anything, making her a little anxious.
"Your back is very smooth. There’s nothing there," Yamato kindly reminded her.
"Are you... telling the truth?" Hancock clutched at this lifeline, asking very earnestly.
Yamato patted her two swaying breasts, guaranteeing with a solemn tone, "I swear on Oden’s name, there’s nothing on your back."
"Oden?" Ren narrowed his eyes. This Yamato really needs to be disciplined. And while I’m at it, I’ll kill that Momonosuke.
"...Sister... it’s gone! That mark is really gone!"
"That’s wonderful, Sister!"
Hancock, having received their assurance, had tears streaming from the corners of her eyes. The mark that had plagued her like a demon her entire life had vanished, as if a great mountain had been lifted from her heart.
"By the way, can you put your clothes on before you cry?" Nami spoke up, feeling Ren was about to be tempted.
Unexpectedly, Hancock pounced into Ren’s arms, pressing her soft, full body against him. The sensation was overwhelming as she buried her face in his chest, her tears soaking his shirt. She wrapped her arms around him tightly, clinging to him as if he were her only salvation.
"Can you tell me your name?" she asked, her voice muffled.
"Ren."
"Ren..." Hancock pulled back and gazed into his eyes. "Let’s get married!!!"
Ren smiled slightly. "Alright."
"Eh eh eh!!!" Her extremely erratic words and his swift reply caused her sisters, the crew, and Perona to exclaim in surprise.
Soon, Ren helped her get dressed. The marriage was only a temporary decision. There were more important matters at hand. The battle had entered a white-hot stage.
